With effect of 1st October 2011 HORN GmbH & Co.KG (TECALEMIT) in Germany, one of the oldest portfolio companies of the German INDUS-Group has acquired all the shares of Pneumatic Components Ltd (PCL). The management teams of both TECALEMIT and PCL in the UK are very pleased to announce the joining together of these brand leading companies under the new ownership. It is for sure that this new international Group will benefit and offer wider opportunities to customers, suppliers and company employees.
Both companies will continue to trade independently as they do currently, but each will have access to a wider range of complementary products to offer.
TECALEMIT has, for instance, a strong market share in the automotive market, particularly lubrication equipment, especially in mainland Europe. Conversely, PCL is the recognised global leader in tyre inflation equipment, built on a solid UK market, where TECALEMIT has only limited presence. In addition, both companies have identified India, China, and the USA as potential growth markets for the respective brand developments. Operationally, the new group has much wider and comprehensive design, development, engineering and manufacturing capability.
In short, the products and markets of TECALEMIT and PCL complement each other extremely well and both management teams are extremely enthusiastic about a positive future together.
